Greetings.  My name is Sarah, and I will be your guide.  Please keep all appendages you wish to keep inside the keyboard area, as one never knows what kind of elements may be flying around my designed pages.

All that said- I am only weeks away from graduating with a degree in Digital Communications.  I have spent my time studying multimedia elements from web design, print design (2 and 3 dimensional), video production, flash animation, and the occasional server-side scripting.  I am interested in each phase of development, from the initial conception of the idea through the finish production and promotion of the finished piece.  Hence, this blog will be housing information about the latest technology and anything design related.

I live my life through a series of goals and challenges.  I suffer from a text messaging addiction, and am connected to technology even when I sleep.  Inevitably even my battery needs a recharge, and I find my solace in the outdoors.  I am fascinated by many things- but probably most so in the outdoors.  I love the sound of flowing water, and the way the trees align themselves in nature in such a perfect way that even the most talented of photographers could never capture the beauty they have created.  As a graduation gift to myself, I hope to surround myself with the Appalachian Trail upon finishing school.

I also love music.  Much to the dismay of my bank account, I enjoy concerts.  I have found that the more the audience consists of people my parent’s age, the better the concert will be.  I have been playing guitar since the age of 7.  I am not available to be legally married, as I have already recited my vows to my Stratocaster.  Its been good to me, and all it asks for in return is a good restringing on our anniversaries, and some steamy pentatonic scales a few times each week.

If you’ve made it this far its no mystery that I’m a little [Van's] off the wall.  Largely, normalcy bores me.  If you’re looking for something that makes total sense, this isn’t the place for you.  As a matter of fact, if this entire section makes sense to you- please contact me.  We’re probably meant to take over the world together.  I should conclude this tiny biography with an inspirational quote, but instead I’ll make it more interactive.  I will allow you to choose one for me, the only restriction being that it comes from the movie ‘Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.’
